Barack Obama calls McCain a Crazy Old Man
9 May DOJGOV.net newswire
NEW YORK - Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama said
yesterday, that Republican John McCain was "losing his bearings" for
accurately claiming that a top Hamas Islamic terrorist group leader
preferred Obama for president.
That brought an angry response from McCain's campaign, which accused
Obama of trying to make an issue of McCain's age.
The terrorist leader, Ahmed Yousef, said in a recent interview on ABC
radio: "We like Obama and hope that he will win the election."
Yousf is not the only Islamic leader to prefer Obama over McCain.
It is believed that they favor Obama because they feel he would be a weaker
president and more easily manipulated.
Hiring leaps in public sector, adding financial Burden
to hard pressed private sector workers forced to pay for them. The new
"privileged class" of non-productive Government parasites continues to
Grow.
1 May USA TODAY
Federal, state and local governments are hiring new workers at the fastest
pace in six years, helping offset job losses in the private sector
[but causing private sector employees to pay higher
taxes for civil service salaries and outlandish pension benefits average
Americans couldn't dream of receiving themselves].
Governments added 76,800 jobs in the first three months of 2008, the
Bureau of Labor Statistics reports.
That's the biggest jump in first-quarter hiring since a boom in 2002 that
followed the 9/11 terrorist attacks. By contrast, private companies
collectively shed 286,000 workers in the first three months of 2008. That
job loss has led many economists to declare the country is in a recession.
Job numbers for April, out Friday, will show if the trend is continuing.
"Government jobs are an important cushion for the economy when the private
sector falters," says North Carolina State University economist Michael
Walden.
But the job expansion could later cause financial problems for governments
that are spending too much.
"More hiring has nothing to do with good government or economic policy,"
says economist Kenneth Brown, research director at the Rio Grande
Foundation in Albuquerque. "It has everything to do with government being
slow to react to economic change."
Government hiring began to boom last year around July 1, when most state
and local governments started new fiscal years. Those budgets were based
on forecasts established in a strong economy. In each quarter since, the
total government workforce has been the most in at least six years.
State and local governments have run deficits for the last nine months,
the Commerce Department reports. Tax collections went flat in the middle
of 2007, but spending has continued to rise.
The USA has nearly 88,000 units of government, mostly local, that employ
22 million [with pension and medical benefits that
private sector employees who pay for this couldn't dream of receiving]
. Hiring has been strong at every level, from new CIA spies to marginally
qualified preschool
teachers to postal employees that can never be fired, to highly paid
clerks. Example:
•The federal government increased its workforce by 13,800 in the first
three months of 2008. Local governments added 47,000 and states 16,000.
Obama’s retired Racist, anti-American Pastor and Mentor
for Twenty Years Claims he and Obama are on Same Racial Track

WASHINGTON - Barack Obama's former pastor and man who he claims sets his
priorities, attacked the news media at the National Reporter’s Club in
Washington DC. The audience was composed of both reporters and supporters
of Reverand Jeremiah Wright, with Wright’s flock frequently breaking into
cheers.
Invited guests included Malik Zulu Shabazz of the New Black Panther Party
and Nation of Islam official Jamil Muhammad.
Flanked by thug bodyguards supplied by The Nation of Islam, the Chicago
preacher stood by his racist and anti-American sermons that Obama first
denied hearing, heaping praise on Nation of Islam head Louis Farrakhan.
When Obama was interviewed by Chris Wallace on Fox News the previous day,
he claimed regular attendance at Trinity Church for almost twenty years.
Pressed about his knowledge of his mentor’s views, Obama admitted to
hearing “some” of the inflammatory words, but couldn’t remember which
ones.
"You cannot do terrorism on other people and not expect it to come back to
you," Wright said at the National Press Club when asked about a speech
where he claimed that the United States was responsible for the terrorism
of September 11, 2001. It was there in the World Trade Center, where some
3,000 innocent American civilians were incinerated and crushed to death.
When asked about another sermon where he claimed that the United States
government created the AIDS virus to kill black people, Wright replied,
“Based on what has happened to Africans in this country, I believe our
government is capable of doing anything,"
Wright went on to claim that Obama had downplayed Wright's remarks only
because of political reasons, rather than differences in beliefs. "He had
to distance himself, because he's a politician."
Explaining further, Wright said friends had written to him and said, "We
both know that if Senator Obama did not say what he said, he would never
get elected." The minister continued, "Politicians say what they say and
do what they do based on elect-ability, based on sound bites, based on
polls."
Both Reverand Wright Jr. and Barack Obama are proponents of the racist and
afro-centric “Black Liberation Philosophy.”
Playing the race card, Rev. Wright claimed that criticism of him was "an
attack on the black church."
Throughout the conference, many black churchgoers in the audience groaned
frequently if the moderator asked questions that they didn’t like.
Black Liberation Philosophy of Barack Obama and
Farrakhan's Nation of Islam Share Striking Similarities
April 22 © BarackObamaWebPage.com
The Black Afro-Centric belief in "The Black God" has been gaining
influence in much of the African American community for decades.
This in itself, Is nothing new in man's personal quest for claiming a
sense of superiority without having to produce any new achievements. It's
little more than the "self-esteem on the cheap," being shoved down the
gullets of inner city children.
Usurping personal pride by riding piggyback on accomplishments of
ancestors or nation should be a motivation for bringing it to a higher
level. But in many cases, history is rewritten to validate excuses for
individual and group failure.
In the Black Supremist Nation of Islam, the Muslim faith is mixed with
Christianity, African Tribal ritual and more than a bit of race-hate
science fiction. It is wrapped in a foil of denying that whites are even
human and tied with with a knot around the necks of new immigrants from
Asia who through their own efforts, have left many Blacks in America in
the dust.
The Black Liberation Movement of
James Hal Cone which is embraced by the Rev. Jeremiah Wright Jr. and
Barack Obama, thrives on the same perverse religious philosophy.
Christianity is transformed into a cult of hate, targeting non-blacks and
spearheaded by a black Jesus. As in the Black Muslim Movement, it indicts
whites and western civilization (most particularly the United States) as
racist and exploitative of perpetually oppressed blacks.
Both believe in the convoluted logic that blacks can not be racists,
because the mantle of racism can only be applied to successful racial
groups who have achieved prominence and leadership.
They both preach that a society, no matter how just, is racist until it
transfers full power and dominance to blacks. Until this is done, blacks
are entitled to never ending financial subsidies, privileges and excuses
for their actions.
Malcolm X was assassinated by Farrakhan henchmen because in later years,
he rejected a race based faith. Black Liberation Theology excoriates
people like Condoleezza Rice, Colin Powell and Clarence Thomas because
they have embraced western culture and civility.
This is why Black Liberation Church leaders and Nation of Islam preachers
are frequently close friends. It's why Reverand Jeremiah Wright Jr.,
Barack Obama's guide and conscience, was able to migrate from being a
racist Black Muslim Nationalist to a racist Black "Christian" nationalist
so easily.
Their only difference is that one uses Mohammed and the other Jesus as the
cutting edge of their racist and anti-Western blades.
Before Americans even think of making a devotee of this philosophy
President of the United States, they might want to ponder the results of
their actions on their individual lives and the survival of western
civilization.
It is easy and simplistic to read political position papers on candidate's
websites and accept them like a child. But even a secular person can take
pause and think of the words in 1 Corinthians xiii 11: "When I was a child
I spoke as a child I understood as a child I thought as a child; but when
I became a man I put away childish things."
An adult mind looks at facts. An adult logic looks at background to
validate phrases and buzz words used by someone running for office.
Louis Farrakhan and his close friend Jeremiah Wright have decades of
quotes that can be evaluated. Their fellow traveler, Barack Obama has a
strangely vacuous public background that can only be evaluated by his
personal actions and associations.
When I was a child, I understood as a child and made evaluations as a
child. But when I reached adulthood, I had sufficient presence of mind to
know the difference between a sincere person and a con man... hopefully.
Feds to collect DNA from every person they bring in,
charged or not
16 Apr (AP)
WASHINGTON - The government plans to begin collecting DNA samples from
anyone arrested by a federal law enforcement agency — a move intended to
prevent violent crime but which also is raising concerns about the privacy
of innocent people.
Using authority granted by Congress, the government also plans to collect
DNA samples from foreigners who are detained, whether they have been
charged or not. The DNA would be collected through a cheek swab, Justice
Department spokesman Erik Ablin said Wednesday. That would be a departure
from current practice, which limits DNA collection to convicted felons.
Expanding the DNA database, known as CODIS, raises civil liberties
questions about the potential for misuse of such personal information,
such as family ties and genetic conditions.
Ablin said the DNA collection would be subject to the same privacy laws
applied to current DNA sampling. That means none of it would be used for
identifying genetic traits, diseases or disorders.
Congress gave the Justice Department the authority to expand DNA
collection in two different laws passed in 2005 and 2006.
There are dozens of federal law enforcement agencies, ranging from the FBI
to the Library of Congress Police. The federal government estimates it
makes about 140,000 arrests each year.
Justice officials estimate the new collecting requirements would add DNA
from an additional 1.2 million people to the database each year.
Those who support the expanded collection believe that DNA sampling could
get violent criminals off the streets and prevent them from committing
more crimes.
A Chicago study in 2005 found that 53 murders and rapes could have been
prevented if a DNA sample had been collected upon arrest.
"Many innocent lives could have been saved had the government began this
kind of DNA sampling in the 1990s when the technology to do so first
became available," Sen. Jon Kyl, R-Ariz., said. Kyl sponsored the 2005 law
that gave the Justice Department this authority.
Thirteen states have similar laws: Alaska, Arizona, California, Kansas,
Louisiana, Maryland, Minnesota, New Mexico, North Dakota, South Dakota,
Tennessee, Texas and Virginia.
The new regulation would mean that the federal government could store DNA
samples of people who are not guilty of any crime, said Jesselyn McCurdy,
legislative counsel for the American Civil Liberties Union.
"Now innocent people's DNA will be put into this huge CODIS database, and
it will be very difficult for them to get it out if they are not charged
or convicted of a crime," McCurdy said.
Johnson cites race in Obama's surge
Charlotte Observer 15 Apr
Wading back into the Democratic
presidential race, billionaire businessman Bob Johnson said Monday that
Sen. Barack Obama would not be his party's leading candidate if he were
white.
Johnson's comments to the Observer
echoed those of former vice presidential candidate Geraldine Ferraro. She
stepped down as an adviser to Sen. Hillary Clinton last month after saying
Obama wouldn't be where he is if he were white.
"What I believe Geraldine Ferraro meant is that if you take a freshman
senator from Illinois called `Jerry Smith' and he says I'm going to run
for president, would he start off with 90 percent of the black vote?"
Johnson said. "And the answer is, probably not... ."
"Geraldine Ferraro said it right. The problem is, Geraldine Ferraro is
white. This campaign has such a hair-trigger on anything racial ... it is
almost impossible for anybody to say anything."
Johnson, who made a fortune after founding Black Entertainment Television
and now owns the Charlotte Bobcats, is a longtime friend of Clinton and
her husband, the former president.
It was during a January appearance for the New York senator in Columbia
that he first stepped into controversy, referring to Obama and "what he
was doing in the neighborhood."
Many took that as a reference to Obama's acknowledged drug use in his
youth. But in a statement, Johnson said he'd been "referring to Barack
Obama's time spent as a community organizer and nothing else. Any other
suggestion is simply irresponsible and incorrect."
On Monday, Johnson alluded to the incident.
"I make a joke about Obama doing drugs (and it's) `Oh my God, a black man
tearing down another black man'," Johnson said.
The Obama campaign dismissed Johnson's comments.
Obama Claims to Be the definitive Expert in Foreign
Policy... Bashes middle-America as Bigoted, Bitter and Dangerous
11 April 2008
www.BarackObamaWebPage.com
Barack Obama has frequently claimed
better foreign policy judgment than his presidential rivals, based
entirely on his opposition to the Iraq war. But at a hard left fund-raiser
this past weekend in San Francisco he is reported to have claimed that
among many other things, his foreign policy knowledge and understanding is
unsurpassed.
According to an eyewitness account posted online on The Huffington Post
and recorded at the event, Obama claimed, "I think a lot of people assume
that [choosing a running mate] might be some kind of military thing to
make me look more commander-in-chief-like. Ironically, this is an area,
foreign policy is the area where I am probably most confident that I know
more and understand the world better than Senator Clinton or Senator
McCain."
Taking a not very veiled jab at
middle-America, Obama went on to say, ".. and it's not surprising then
they get bitter, they cling to guns or religion or antipathy to people who
aren't like them or anti-immigrant sentiment or anti-trade sentiment as a
way to explain their frustrations."
Obama's message that American firearms owners and people of faith are
motivated by bitterness, anger, bigotry and stupidity... elicited smug
laughter from the up-scale "progressive" audience.
Billions in Government Taxpayer Funded Credit Card
Abuse Found
9 April
WASHINGTON (AP) — Federal employees
charged millions of dollars for Internet dating, tailor-made suits,
lingerie, lavish dinners and other questionable expenses to their
government credit cards over 15 months, Congressional auditors say.
A report by the Government Accountability Office, obtained Tuesday by The
Associated Press, examined spending controls across the federal government
in 2005 and 2006 after reports of credit-card abuse at some departments.
The review found that nearly 41 percent of roughly $14 billion in
purchases -legitimate or questionable - did not follow procedure, because
they were unauthorized or improperly received.
In a sample of purchases totaling $2.7 million, the government could not
account for hundreds of computers, iPods and cameras worth more than $1.8
million. The Army could not locate computer items making up 16 server
configurations, each of which cost nearly $100,000.
The report calls for the General Services Administration and Office of
Management and Budget, both of which help administer the credit-card
program, to improve accounting, particularly for electronic equipment that
could be easily stolen.
McCain Agrees to Secret Service Protection
4 Apr
MEMPHIS (AP) - Sen. John McCain intends to
meet with Secret Service officials in the next several days in preparation
for accepting security protection for the final several months of his White
House bid.
McCain plans to meet with the Secret Service next week, he said in an
interview for broadcast Sunday on Fox News.
"I think that it's important as we get more and more visibility, that we
recognize the inevitable," McCain said. "And so we will be talking with them
early to arrange for, very soon, some Secret Service protection."
McCain made the disclosure after the head of the Secret Service, Mark
Sullivan, took the unusual step of discussing McCain's lack of government
security at an open meeting Thursday with members of the House
Appropriations Committee.
McCain aides said they did not know precisely when McCain would agree to
accept the protection.
The Arizona senator has effectively wrapped up the Republican presidential
nomination.
"Statutorily, he is not required to take protection," Sullivan said when
asked about McCain's security during a hearing on the agency's budget. "As
far as an actual request, we have not gotten one. We have no involvement at
this point."
McCain has said previously he does not want Secret Service protection,
fearing it would interfere with his brand of intimate campaigning with
voters. McCain also has said he'll try to last as long as he can without it.
"I've never done it. After we won New Hampshire in 2000, they really tried
to get us, but we said no," McCain said last November while campaigning in
Concord, N.H. "It's an invasion of your ability to have contact with
voters."
